Given the slightly looser timings of the Patriot Viper 4 DDR4 16GB 2800MHz kit we would suspect it ti fall just about mid line between the 2400 MHz kit and the 3000MHz kit. and the ADIA64 copy benchmark holds that assumption as true, The Patriot Viper 4 DDR4 16GB 2800MHz kit falls between the 3000MHz and 2400 MHz kit.
With DDR4 latency is both a factor of speed and timings and the Patriot Viper 4 DDR4 16GB 2800MHz kit scraped past the 2400MHz kit and fell 6 points behind the 3000MHz kit.  Again I would urge you not to think about chart position as a win lose scenario, different products are designed to run at different speeds (and prices).  While in the end “there can only be one” winner unless every kit is the same speed same timings then as long as they perform in their speed/timing range they get props.
The read benchmark puzzled us and the Patriot Viper 2800MHz kit fell behind the Kingston 2400MHz offering. It puzzled us a lot so we ran 3 more tests on a separate 3011v3 rig and the results held true.
The write benchmark in AIDA64 found the Viper encroaching on the Kingston 3000MHz kits territory and it almost matched the faster kit.
