OVERCLOCKING
Overclocking the A10-7850K is very simple as it features unlocked multiplier. We were able to quickly raise the CPU clockspeed from the default 3.7 GHz to 4.3 GHz in a matter of just a few minutes by raising the core voltage to 1.4V. While we were able to get the APU to boot into Windows at higher clockspeed it will not pass Prime95 stress test. Even when we raise the voltage by 0.025V, we were still not able to get the Prime to run stable for at least 5 minutes. So we settle for the 4.3GHz.
With the new architecture, someone might get more perf gains from overclocking the memory and fsb before going after the multiplier.
