Power, Thermals and Noise
For our thermal testing, we ran Gaming loads rather than a power virus type of load as this represents a far more realistic loading scenario for those looking to see what you can expect when gaming on your new RTX card.
We saw Idle temps similar to the 2070 which is not really a surprise being the same cooler. Putting the GPU under load you can see this is definitely outputting a bit less heat. The 2060 barely moved past 65 under full load.
Thermals while at max overclock are worth noting that with fans at auto only topped out at 71.
The fan noise for the RTX 2060 Founders edition is nonexistant. even when overclocking with fans at auto the fans never broke over 50-52% they simply were not needed and you would be hard-pressed to hear this card even in a near silent system.
