Kingston HyperX Fury Pro 360x300mm (HX-MPFP-M)

Final Thoughts & Conclusion

The HyperX Fury Pro mouse pad meets our every need for a superior gaming and general use mouse pad. The construction is solid and materials well suited to its purpose. We’ve run our mice across dozens of different mouse pads ranging from the WalMart special to high-end carrying case semi rigid $80 dollar mouse pads and the HyperX Fury Pro is as good as any we’ve seen. We would have liked to see “HyperX Fury Pro” blazing across the mouse pad with some flames or a catchy pattern but at this price we can’t complain ($12.99 at the time of post).

Once again we see Kingston fielding high quality gaming products at an affordable price, the The HyperX Cloud II headset we reviewed last month was an out of the park home run in the sub $100 range. We’d have to make the same ruling on the HyperX Fury Pro mouse pad. The $12.99 price for the precision and ease it lends to mousing along with its durability make it well worth the price and an easily affordable addition to your gaming arsenal.

The Steam Deck – Valve delivers an excellent PC handheld

Valve is an interesting company that seems to try to be a lot of things at the same time. Games company, software hub/store and hardware company. Valve is all of these. When it comes to hardware the company has had mixed success. I think many of us remember the Steam Machines. These compact computers running SteamOS, a Linux based OS, were supposed to make Windows PC’s obsolete for gaming. They didn’t succeed. Valve also released a specific controller, the Steam Controller, which also did not exactly set the world on fire. In hindsight though both these products have paved the way for the product I am testing today, the Steam Deck, Valves attempt to compete with the Nintendo Switch in the handheld market.
