Conclusion
The new networking hardware from ASUS is very much in line with how they handle their other product lines: they simply take something that works and find ways to make it better. This is one rare occasion when we can say that almost everybody can use the AiCloud feature or at least some part of it in their daily lives. There is so much in the offering now and so much more coming soon that we see no reason why anybody would not want to give it a go as it simply opens up your ability to use your network in new ways you never would have thought possible.
Previously accessing your data and network would have required a VPN or even setup of a FTP which both can be problematic for inexperienced users, while AiCloud is simply a few easily guided steps to give you remote access to anything shared on your network from anywhere. It simply works.
Add to this that the router as tested is a very capable and stable unit offering excellent range even many rooms away with excellent signal quality and speeds, and there really is no reason why we could not recommend the ASUS networking hardware.
To sum it up ASUS took the badass engineering of their Motherboard-GPU team and put them to work on a router. The result is a supercharged beast with the help of the software team to add features which make it a huge value to integrate these units into your network.
