We’ll start with a synthetic benchmark, 3Dmark. I do not think this piece of software needs any introduction as versions of the program has been used for many many years when testing a new card.
Regular Timespy shows a 6 – 8% increase in performance. When we crank up the settings in Timespy Extreme and also test Ray tracing performance with the Port Royal test the increase is a bit higher at up to 11% but it still isn’t that much considering an almost double price.
