3DMark Fire strike
3DMark Firestrike shows that the new RTX SUPER series of cards get a nice bump here at DX11 testing. The RTX 2060 SUPER nips right at the heels of the RTX 2070 and easily surpasses the GTX 1080. The RTX 2070 SUPER edges closer to the RTX 2080 here but still, a marginal gap separates the two.
3DMark Time Spy
Time Spy is the newest 3DMark entry being a DX12 variant. The RTX 2070 SUPER passes not only the 1080 Ti but the TITAN Xp in the regular Time Spy test while moving to Extreme, the RTX 2070 SUPER falls right in line with the TITAN Xp still surpassing the 1080 Ti readily. The RTX 2060 SUPER we see that the regular test shows right at the heels of the RTX 2070 and the same for the extreme test.
VRMark has 3 levels, Easiest being Orange, then heavy being Cyan and insane mode being Blue. We are omitting Orange as every current card maxes it out and it is no longer a very viable representation of performance.
Cyan, we see that the RTX 2060 SUPER surpasses the 1080 Ti and shows a wide lead over the 2060 FE. The RTX 2070 SUPER is well ahead of the TITAN Xp and a bit shy of the RTX 2080.
Blue, as I said, is “insane mode” and it shows as the 2060 SUPER is now in between the RTX 2070 and RTX 2070 with the higher memory PAscal offerings moving further up the chart. The RTX 2070 SUPER falls in line behind the RTX 2080 once again easily eclipsing the TITAN Xp and GTX 1080 Ti.
Unigine Heaven 4.0 Pro
Heaven is a long time test ion our suite. It is from Unigine and pushes tessellation and some heavy GPU loading.
While Heaven may be aging, putting it at 4K still puts some hurt on the GPU and can give you a very good view of raw performance scaling. Here we see similar results for the SUPER series of GPUs with them falling into similar positions past their FE Brethren.
Unigine Superposition Pro
Superposition is the newest benchmark from Unigine and is better aligned with testing the newer cards we are testing today.
Here with Unigine Superposition, we see the SUPER series cards take a leap ahead. the 2070 SUPER now surpasses the RTX 2080 while the 2060 SUPER trails the RTX 2080 closely.
Now we’re gonna take a look at some actual real gameplay and see how the new RTX SUPER series of cards perform.
