I’ve always been a huge fan of most Lenovo products and can still remember the ThinkPad laptops that I had in college and just how durable and practical they were. The new Yoga 900S is no exception and helps build upon the Lenovo reputation and portfolio. We were happy to see that Lenovo managed to keep the quality and durability features that made us love the brand while still being able to infuse this with some style and elegance.
With this approach, Lenovo has created an ultrabook that has little competition when you factor in all of its attributes. We loved that the 12.5-inch screen gave it a form factor that was not too small and not too big, but just right for being on the go and portability. The size also allowed them to implement a full-sized keyboard and feature a UHD IPS touch screen, large touch pad and a reasonable amount of ports. Overall we don’t really have any negatives about the Yoga 900S and it exceeded our expectations. Our only regret is that by the time this review is published, we will have had to send this amazing ultrabook back to Lenovo since it is only on loan.
The Lenovo Yoga 900S we looked at retails for around $1,249.99 and when you consider its build quality, weight, performance, and other attributes, it is a great system and we highly recommend it. There are also less expensive versions of the 900S that start around $1,000 that are also worth a look if you don’t need as much performance. As a result, we give the Lenovo Yoga 900S our highest award, the Bjorn3D Golden Bear Award for its performance, light weight, size and million dollar looks that will have people wondering if it is the newest Apple product.
