Zotac GTX960 AMP!-edition, Maxwell goes mainstream

Award_ApprovalThe Zotac GTX 960 AMP! Edition is a worthy successor for the GTX 660 and GTX 760. It constantly performs much better than the GTX 760 and in some cases even manages to almost tie with a Gigabyte GTX770. The general price for the GTX960 is around €200 in Europe (€160 in UK and 2200SEK in Sweden) and we can expect cheaper prices in stores. We are still waiting for the final price for the Zotac GTX960 AMP!-edition but it should be in line with the recommended price.

If you have been waiting to upgrade your GTX 660 or GTX 760-card you now have an excellent card to pick up that will make sure that you can keep gaming at 1080p at 60 fps with just a few minor tweaks to the settings, tweaks the GeForce Experience-software can do for you. The Zotac GTX960 AMP!-edition is pre-overclocked which gives you a bit more performance and also is very silent making it a perfect gaming card for the user who doesn’t want a hair-dryer in their system.

The Zotac GTX 960 AMP!-edition might not break any speed-records but still offers great performance at 1080p making it a perfect upgrade for users with older GTX760 and GTX660-cards.

The Steam Deck – Valve delivers an excellent PC handheld

Valve is an interesting company that seems to try to be a lot of things at the same time. Games company, software hub/store and hardware company. Valve is all of these. When it comes to hardware the company has had mixed success. I think many of us remember the Steam Machines. These compact computers running SteamOS, a Linux based OS, were supposed to make Windows PC’s obsolete for gaming. They didn’t succeed. Valve also released a specific controller, the Steam Controller, which also did not exactly set the world on fire. In hindsight though both these products have paved the way for the product I am testing today, the Steam Deck, Valves attempt to compete with the Nintendo Switch in the handheld market.
