Bequiet Dark Rock Pro 3
Modern computers need active cooling on the CPU and there’s to mainstream methods of cooling, Air and Water Cooling. Generally we prefer water cooling but at times a CPU air cooler of magnanimous proportions hits the market and we have to take a look at it. In today’s case we are looking at the BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3 which is a twin tower air cooler with not one but two SilentWing fans. The fans themselves are impressive coming in at 120mm and 135mm and the BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3 is reminiscent of the Noctua NH D15 we reviewed a few years back. The BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3 promises a 250W TDP cooling capacity which is high for air cooling but on the low-end of water cooling capacity. You have to face it sometimes water cooling just isn’t feasible and large honking big air coolers are the only other non-exotic choice that’s doable. We are looking for big results from the BeQuiet Dark Rock Pro 3 and at its $94.90 price tag the results better be $94.90 big.
