Corsair Force MP500 240GB M.2 NVMe SSD Review, Ridiculously Fast!!!

HD Tune Pro

HD Tune Pro is a hard disk / SSD utility with many functions. It can be used to measure the drive’s performance, scan for errors, check the health status (S.M.A.R.T.), securely erase all data and much more.

Default Test

HD Tune Pro the default test shows us a minimum speed of 719.5MB/s with a maximum of 1201MB/s and an average speed of 992.1MB/s with an access time of 0.033ms. CPU usage runs a little higher for SSD’s and especially NVMe SSDs and came in at 4% (Approx).

0Fill

The 0Fill test on HD Tune Pro shows us 2.123GB/s read and 1.819GB/s Write. 4KB random Multi shows 124086 IOPS read and 23479 IOPS write.

Mixed Data Test

The HD Tune Pro Mixed data test has the Force MP500 at 1.398GB/s Read and 1.064GB/s write so again mixed 0Fill and incompressible data slows the MP500 down a bit but speeds remain mind-boggling high!
