Final Thoughts and Conclusion
During our time testing the Thermaltake Toughpower DPS G RGB 1250W Titanium we felt like it achieved the results that we expected and considering under real world conditions we were able to achieve these results we would call this a win overall for this feature laden PSU. The software we felt like was a wonderful monitoring tool and also in away a depressing one. I say depressing in a good way because we ran a stress test just so we could watch the live feedback of the software and having all test rig components set to 100% during the 15 minute our test rig only managed to hit a meager 30% load on the PSU, so it was depressing because we wish we could have taxed it harder and it made us feel like man I need some AMD GPU’s or something that will suck massive amounts of power. Keep in mind that this PSU is not for everyone, but luckily you can also purchase it in 850W, 1000W, 1250W that we tested and a monster 1500W model, So whatever your need Tt has you covered. Besides the RGB fan that is built into the unit we were especially impressed by the individually sleeved cables and its industry leading 10-year warranty on this PSU. Now while you might do a new build every few years with this PSU it gives you the peace of mind that you could use it down the road in whatever you build or upgrade to in the future.
The Thermaltake Toughpower DPS G RGB 1250W Titanium comes in at a hefty $336.66 on Amazon and is in line with what other brands charge for their Titanium offerings with similar wattage. However, none of the competition features the RGB fan, individually sleeved wires on the modular cables, and none of them come close to Tt 10 year warranty which is industry-leading. As a result we give the Thermaltake Toughpower DPS G RGB 1250W Titanium the Bjorn3DÂ Golden Bear Award.
