Introduction
The Corsair M65 PRO RGB is the latest iteration of the M65 FPS gaming mouse. The most notable change being the upgraded internals. Corsair has chosen a PMW3360 sensor which bumps the M65 PRO RGB up to a 12K DPI capability. The M65 PRO RGB is a purpose-built peripheral aimed at the FPS gaming crowd and comes with a rich feature list that is competitive with all current peripherals on the market. We have spent time with the M65 PRO RGB in the past and were pleased with the results. We have included an up to date walk through of the Corsair Utility Engine to show the progress made in those areas. Let’s take a quick look at how the M65 got it’s start, the specifications list, then jump right into some closeups.
Blast From the Past
Above we see the changes that have been made to the M65. The original M65 had an exposed aluminum underbelly which we wouldn’t mind seeing as an option on the PRO. The M65 RGB got new buttons, a new logo and the ever-loved RGB treatment. The M65 PRO RGB is without doubt the finest version with its subtle design changes and 12K DPI sensor upgrade.

If they would just remove that annoying sniper button on the side of the mouse it would be perfect.
How is it annoying? It’s a programmable button. If you don’t use it just don’t press it. It sits flush with the thumb rest.
