Nvidia DLSS 2.0 and the Nvidia RTX2060-Max Q

Testing – how it was done

I decided to focus on the resolution 1080p as most if not all gaming laptops featuring the RTX 2060 Max-Q come with a fast Hz 1080p-screen and I think many are interested to see how much higher framerates you can get with DLSS. I did some test with a 4K monitor also but that was not the main foxus here.

Testing was done in the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 which was set to Turbo performance mode.

In each game I either tried to play through and measure the fps with OCCAT or use a built in benchmark mode. I also have tried to take screenshots when using the different settings so we can see if DLSS 2.0 either improves, makes image quality worse or have the same image quality.

While the main focus is DLSS 2.0 i included two games that only use DLSS 1.0 – mainly to see the improvements that has been made.

On to the games!
