Mushkin Unveils ProSpec SSD for Enterprise

Mushkin launches ProSpec series SSDs target toward enterprise market. The SSDs deliver random read and write performance of 80K and 42K IOPS and sustained transfer rate of 560 MB/s. Storage capacities ranges from 100GB to 400GB. The drive uses SandForce SF-2582 controller and enterprise MLC flash (eMLC) for higher durability and performance. It is compatible with SATA 6 Gbps and will feature 128-bit AES hardware encryption with TRIM support. The ProSpec SSD will equip with Mushkin’s Power Safe Technology to protect data against unexpected system power loss through the hardware and firmware of the drive.
