AMD has released a beta of their latest Catalyst-drivers: Catalyst 13.8 Beta. One of the big fixes in this driver is that AMD has added frame-pacing to help get rid of or at least minimize the micro-stuttering a lot of people have experienced when running more than one GPU.

Today we have the new XFX take on the HD7790 model with the R7790 Black Edition. As some of you may know, “Black Edition” means “overclocked” and a pretty awesome cooler as well, so let’s open this thing up and see what it can do.

 Diamond delivers on the new 7790 model and we got a chance to see what it has to offer so lets see what this little budget card can do!
