INTRODUCTION
The Patriot Memory Company is known primarily for their memory related products including memory modules, USB flash drives, SSDs and flash memory cards. They also boast a diverse roster of peripherals such as cooling solutions, storage and add-on cards. They’ve recently decided to follow the trend of most other PC component companies by offering gaming peripherals in the form of a gaming mouse, a headset and the Patriot Viper V760 Mechanical gaming keyboard, the last of which we’ll be looking at today.
Right on the packaging, the chassis is stated to be built of aircraft grade aluminum, which certainly speaks well for the keyboard’s durability. The keys are advertised as being “super quiet mechanical keys” while also offering individually programmed RGB back-lighting for each key. Listed at $100 on Amazon, the Viper V760 has very competitive pricing with keyboards offering similar features, so our only question is if Patriot cut any corners or is this keyboard the real deal?
