Final Thoughts
Well you have to give the Devil his due the PowerColor Red Devil RX 470 4GB worked it’s Black Magic on us and the sub $200 price range didn’t hurt our feelings a bit. We would recommend the PowerColor Red Devil RX 470 4GB at 1080p without hesitation and at 1440p knowing that in some games you will have to dial down the graphics a bit.
Given the sub $200 price point we like the PowerColor Red Devil RX 470 4GB and believe it offers mainstream gamers a chance to get into DIrectX 12 and test the 1440p waters if they upgrade monitors later. We really wonder what this crazy PowerColor Red Devil RX 470 4GB would do in Xfire but that question will have to wait until we get a second RX 470 in hand.
The styling and performance of the PowerColor Red Devil RX 470 4GB certainly outperformed our expectations for a “Mainstream” offering. The fans were for the most part  silent and the Double Blade III design looks sharp and differentiates the PowerColor Red Devil RX 470 4GB from the pack.
Price and performance lands the PowerColor Red Devil RX 470 4GB in the Bjorn3D Silver Award arena, the styling and well thought out motif earns it a place on the testbench.
Running won’t break the bank and at 1080p you’ll like dancing with the Devil (Red Devil)
