Benchmarks
We will now get into benching and see how the Mushkin Redline Ridgeback 2666Mhz does when crunching numbers. We aren’t going to keep you in suspense, the Mushkin Redline Ridgeback did a great job and the tight (15 15 15) timings helped this approximately 50$ kit stay relevant even when comparing to other kits well above that price range. Also worth a mention, the Mushkin Redline Ridgeback 8GB Dual-Channel DDR4-2666MHz (15-15-15-35) (997192T) is the only 8G kit in the charts. We are very impressed with the Mushkin Redline Ridgeback’s produced results.
Please be aware that Ram (and other) reviews aren’t a win or lose proposition. Each kit normally has a different speed and timings so making direct comparison to faster or slower kits (IE: 2400 to a 2666MHz) kit is just to apples and oranges for us, each kit is reviewed and evaluated based on it’s expected operational speed within it’s given timings and speed.
