CyberPower showed off a very interesting 2-in-1 PC at CES 2012 called the Black Mamba Fang III. Its a combination of a High-End Gaming system and a Server based system in one single case.
Cyberpower PC’s Black Mamba Fang III
CyberpowerPC has been rapidly gaining more and more popularity for delivering high-quality system for a fair price. The level of customization of the systems is astounding and ranges anywhere from lower-end equipment to latest high-end components, including watercooling and full LED customization. In order to demonstrate the extent to which CyberpowerPC is willing to go, the company has decided to present three high-end systems.
The first system is a prototype featuring Cyberpower’s newly developed case. After listening to the consumers, Cyberpower has decided to make a rotatable motherboard tray switch case, which allows for the user to flip the tray upside down, in order to make the system face either left or right dependent upon consumer lickings. The panels are also adjustable and will most likely have an acrylic window in order to show off the system. The switch can carry practical uses also. By flipping the motherboard tray the cards will now assume the top position with the water cooling blocks covering the PCB of the cards, so in case of the radiator leak there is a less probability of the water coming in contact with the PCB of the card or the motherboard.
CyberPower’s next system is featuring the newly released case by NZXT Switch 810. The system is also water cooled and as you can see has a fancy water reservoir. The system is featuring the Intel Core i7 3960x Extreme processor with 6 cores hyperthreading and dual GTX 590s in SLI. This is a high-end system that can easily support a 3 monitor gameplay with full 3D vision enabled. The neat thing about the case is that the top is capable of fitting in the 480mm radiator. In this pictures we only have dual radiator at the bottom and triple radiator at the top, but with this case there is really no limit as to how you can customize your watercooling system. While previous two systems were somewhat of prototypes, Cyberpower is proud to present an absolutely unique 2-in-1 gaming PC and server system. While the Black Mamba Fang III uses a great popularity amongst the computer enthusiasts, Cyberpower has decided to add an add-on, featuring your own server with core i3 processor for fast data transfer and storage. By purchasing this system the consumer is not only able to make the full use of the ultimate gaming system, but also have a portable server with wireless sharing capabilities, that works all of the other computers in the house. The switch between the server and gaming pc is done by a simple press of the button on a kvm switch, so it also allows for the user to instantly switch between gaming and server mode. The Fang III system featuring the 2 Nvidia GTX 590s and the Intel Core i7-3960x extreme processor is currently priced at $4999 with an additional server add-on priced at $699, featuring Intel’s Core i3-2120 processor, 2TB of hard drive space and supplemental water cooling. The exact system specifications are provided below however they are customizable just like any other CyberPower PC system:
