RocketRAID 2600 Series Certified with Matrox HD/SD Editing Platforms

Milpitas, CA - October 17, 2008 – HighPoint Technologies long recognized as an innovator of RAID HBA solutions for over 13 years, announced completion of compatibility testing of HighPoint’s RocketRAID SAS with the Matrox Axio and RT.X2 realtime editing platforms.

The RocketRAID 2600 SAS RAID Series brings the industry’s fastest sustained streaming performance and flexible connectivity of internal or external storage configurations. The maximum storage scalability is up to 128 devices via SAS expander. The RocketRAID 2600 SAS RAID Series are compatible with either 15,000 rpm SAS hard drives for performance and /or lower cost SATA hard drives for capacity.
